Player Safety & Wellbeing
Play Smart, Stay in Control
bcaji believes that entertainment should never come at the cost of your wellbeing. Our Responsible Gaming programme gives every Bangladesh player the tools, information, and direct support needed to keep gambling a safe and enjoyable activity — and to step back whenever it stops being one.
Our Commitment
Gambling Should Be Fun, Not a Problem
At bcaji, we take our responsibility toward every player on our platform seriously. We understand that for the vast majority of our Bangladesh members, betting on cricket, spinning slots, or enjoying a live casino session is a form of entertainment — a way to add excitement to a match or unwind after a long day in Dhaka or Chittagong. We want to keep it that way.
Problem gambling is a recognised condition that can develop gradually and affect anyone, regardless of income, education, or experience with gambling products. bcaji's Responsible Gaming framework is built on four pillars: prevention, early detection, practical tools, and accessible support. Every element of this programme is available to all registered players at no cost.
This page explains each available tool in plain English, sets out the signs that gambling may be becoming harmful, and provides clear guidance on how to reach bcaji's support team if you — or someone you know — needs help. We encourage every player to read this page in full, even if you feel entirely in control of your gambling right now.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on how much you can deposit. Once set, limits take effect immediately and can only be increased after a mandatory 7-day cooling period.
Session Time Limits
Define the maximum length of any single gaming session. When the limit is reached, bcaji will log you out automatically and display a clear on-screen notification.
Self-Exclusion
Choose to exclude yourself from bcaji for a set period — from 30 days up to permanent exclusion. During any exclusion period your account is fully locked and no deposits can be made.
Reality Check Alerts
Enable periodic pop-up notifications during gameplay that display how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in that session, keeping you grounded in real time.
Player Protection Tools
Every Tool You Need to Stay in Control
bcaji provides a comprehensive set of self-management tools accessible directly from your account settings. Here is a detailed breakdown of each tool, how it works, and how to activate it.
Deposit Limits
Deposit limits allow you to cap the total amount you can add to your bcaji account within a defined rolling period. You can set a daily limit (e.g., ৳2,000 per day), a weekly limit (e.g., ৳10,000 per week), or a monthly limit (e.g., ৳30,000 per month). All three periods can be active simultaneously, and the most restrictive limit always takes precedence.
Reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a deposit limit is subject to a mandatory 7-day waiting period to prevent impulsive decisions made during a losing streak. Deposits via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or bank transfer all count toward the same limit total.
Immediate activationLoss Limits
A loss limit caps the total net amount you can lose in a given rolling period — daily, weekly, or monthly. Unlike a deposit limit, which restricts incoming funds, a loss limit directly measures your game outcomes. Once your net losses for the period reach your chosen threshold, all real-money gameplay is suspended until the period resets.
Loss limits are particularly effective for players who fund their accounts infrequently but play for extended sessions. They act as a direct safety net tied to gameplay results rather than deposit behaviour.
Immediate activationSession Time Limits
Session time limits restrict the total duration of any single continuous logged-in gambling session. When you reach your configured time limit, bcaji will display a full-screen notification summarising your session activity and then log you out. You will need to log back in and consciously acknowledge the notification before starting a new session.
Time limits can be set in increments from 30 minutes up to 8 hours. Many players who use time limits report finding it easier to treat gambling as a bounded leisure activity rather than an open-ended one.
Immediate activationCool-Off / Time-Out
A time-out is a short-term break from gambling, lasting between 24 hours and 6 weeks. During a time-out your account is suspended: you cannot log in, place bets, or make deposits. Your account balance is preserved and will be available when the time-out expires. You can request a time-out at any time from account settings or by contacting the support team.
Time-outs are ideal if you feel you need a short break to reassess your gambling habits without committing to a long-term self-exclusion.
Immediate activationSelf-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is a formal commitment to stop gambling on bcaji for a defined minimum period. Options available are: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or permanent (indefinite) exclusion. During any self-exclusion period your account is fully locked — no login, no deposits, no gameplay.
bcaji will also suppress all marketing communications to your registered email and phone number for the duration of the exclusion. Permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed. Temporary self-exclusion periods cannot be shortened once set; they can only be extended.
Irreversible during periodReality Check Alerts
Reality check alerts are periodic in-game notifications that interrupt your session to display a summary of time elapsed and total amount wagered since you last logged in. The interruption is intentional — it breaks the flow of play and gives you a moment of genuine reflection before you decide whether to continue.
You can configure the frequency of reality checks from every 15 minutes up to every 2 hours. The notification cannot be dismissed without actively selecting either "Continue Playing" or "End Session".
Configurable frequencyProblem Gambling Awareness
Know the Warning Signs
Problem gambling rarely announces itself loudly. It typically develops slowly, through small shifts in behaviour that are easy to rationalise. The self-assessment questions below are not a clinical diagnostic tool, but they reflect patterns commonly identified in players who benefit from support. If you answer "yes" to three or more of these questions, we strongly encourage you to contact the bcaji support team or take a break using one of the tools described above.
Do you find yourself gambling with money originally set aside for rent, food, bills, or other essential living expenses in Bangladesh?
Have you ever tried to win back money you lost by placing larger or more frequent bets than you originally planned?
Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to reduce the amount of time or money you spend gambling?
Have you hidden gambling activity from family members, friends, or colleagues because you feared their reaction?
Has gambling caused arguments, financial strain, or emotional distance between you and people important to you?
Do you continue gambling even when you know you cannot afford to, or even after promising yourself you would stop?
Do you use gambling as a way to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, or problems in your daily life?
Step-by-Step Guide
How to Request Self-Exclusion
Requesting self-exclusion at bcaji takes less than five minutes. The process is designed to be straightforward so that nothing stands between you and taking a break. There are two routes: via your account settings panel, or directly through the support team.
Once your self-exclusion is active, all marketing emails and SMS messages are suppressed immediately. Your account balance at the time of exclusion is preserved and will be available for withdrawal after the exclusion period ends (for temporary exclusions) or upon a formal review request (for permanent exclusion).
-
01
Log in to your bcaji account using your registered username and password. If you cannot log in and need immediate exclusion, skip directly to step 5.
-
02
Navigate to Account Settings by clicking your username in the top navigation bar and selecting "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
-
03
Select "Responsible Gaming" from the left-hand settings sidebar. This section contains all available player protection tools including deposit limits, time-outs, and self-exclusion.
-
04
Click "Self-Exclusion" and choose your preferred exclusion period — 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or permanent. Read the confirmation message carefully, then confirm your selection.
-
05
Contact support directly if you prefer not to use the account panel, or if you need exclusion applied immediately without logging in. Email the support team at the address shown in the footer of this page. Include your registered username and your chosen exclusion period. Your account will be locked within 2 hours of the request being received.
-
06
Confirmation will be sent to your registered email address once the exclusion is active, including the start date, end date (if applicable), and instructions for requesting a withdrawal of any remaining balance.
Age Policy
Strictly 21+ Only at bcaji
bcaji enforces a strict minimum age requirement of 21 years for all players. This is not a guideline — it is a firm policy applied at every stage of the account lifecycle, from registration through to withdrawal.
Age Verification at Registration
Every player must confirm they are aged 21 or above at the point of registration. bcaji reserves the right to request documentary proof of age at any time during the account's lifetime.
KYC Document Checks
Before a first withdrawal is processed, all accounts must pass a Know Your Customer (KYC) check, which includes submitting a government-issued ID confirming both identity and date of birth.
Underage Account Closure
If bcaji identifies or is informed that an account holder is under 21 years of age, the account is immediately suspended, all funds are returned, and all data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
No Marketing to Minors
bcaji's marketing materials are never directed at individuals under the age of 21. All digital advertising channels used by bcaji apply age-gating filters consistent with this policy.
Getting Help
You Are Not Alone
If gambling has stopped being fun and started affecting your daily life, relationships, or finances, reaching out is the right move. bcaji's support team is available around the clock, and the conversation is always confidential.
bcaji Support Team
Contact the bcaji responsible gaming support team directly via email. All communications are handled in English and treated with complete confidentiality. The team operates 7 days a week across Bangladesh Standard Time (BST, UTC+6) business hours, with emergency self-exclusion requests processed within 2 hours.
Talk to Someone You Trust
Sometimes the most effective first step is an honest conversation with a family member or close friend. Gambling problems thrive in secrecy. Choosing to speak openly — whether with a family member in Dhaka, a colleague in Chittagong, or a friend in Sylhet — removes much of the weight that keeps the cycle going.
Keep a Gambling Diary
Recording your sessions — when you play, how much you deposit, how long you play, and how you feel before and after — creates a factual picture of your gambling behaviour over time. Many players find that a written record makes patterns visible that were previously easy to minimise or overlook.
Set a Personal Budget
Treat your gambling budget the same way you would treat any other discretionary expense — entertainment, dining out, or a cinema trip in Dhaka. Decide in advance how much you are willing to spend in a month, and stick to that amount. Use bcaji's deposit limits to enforce it automatically so willpower alone is not the only safeguard.
Find Alternative Activities
Gambling sometimes fills time that could be spent on other activities. Identifying hobbies, social engagements, or physical activities that provide a similar sense of engagement or excitement — without the financial risk — can significantly reduce the pull of habitual gambling.
Use bcaji's Blocking Tools
In addition to the in-platform tools described on this page, consider using third-party website blocking software on your devices to prevent access to gambling sites entirely during a self-imposed break. Tools of this kind are available for desktop browsers, Android, and iOS and provide an additional layer of protection beyond account-level controls.
Healthy Gambling Habits
Principles of Responsible Play
bcaji encourages all players across Bangladesh to keep the following principles in mind every time they log in. These are not restrictions — they are the mindset that allows gambling to remain what it should be: a form of leisure, not a financial strategy or an emotional crutch.
- Gamble only with money you can genuinely afford to lose. Your essential expenses — rent, food, utilities, education — should always come first. Never gamble with borrowed money or funds earmarked for necessities.
- Set limits before you start, not after. Decisions made mid-session are often influenced by the state of play. Setting deposit, loss, and time limits before you begin removes the temptation to chase losses or extend a winning streak beyond your comfort zone.
- Treat gambling as entertainment, not income. The house edge exists in all games. Over the long term, no betting or gaming strategy guarantees profit. If you find yourself relying on winnings to cover regular expenses, that is a significant warning sign.
- Take regular breaks during sessions. Prolonged, uninterrupted play dulls judgement. Step away from the screen every hour, get some water, and return only if you are still in a calm and considered state of mind.
- Never gamble under the influence of alcohol, stress, or emotional distress. Impaired judgement leads to impulsive betting decisions. If you are having a difficult day, close the app and return when you are in a better place.
- Accept that losses are part of the game. Attempting to "win back" losses by increasing bet sizes is known as chasing losses — one of the most common and most damaging patterns in problem gambling. Walk away when you hit your limit.
bcaji's Obligations to You
What bcaji Commits To
Responsible gaming is not solely the player's responsibility. bcaji holds itself to the following operational standards to create an environment where safe play is the default, not the exception.
-
Proactive monitoring: bcaji's platform monitors player behaviour patterns for indicators of problem gambling — such as sudden large deposit increases, very long session durations, or rapid loss-chasing sequences — and may proactively reach out to affected players.
-
No pressure marketing: bcaji will never send promotional bonuses or "special offers" to players who have activated loss limits, time-out periods, or self-exclusion. These players are suppressed from all marketing lists.
-
Staff training: All bcaji customer support staff are trained to identify signs of problem gambling in player communications and to respond with empathy, clear information, and appropriate escalation to responsible gaming tools.
-
Transparent game information: bcaji makes Return to Player (RTP) percentages and game rules available for all slots and casino games so players can make informed decisions about which games they choose to play.
-
Immediate tool activation: Requests to reduce limits, activate time-outs, or begin self-exclusion are actioned immediately — never delayed, never questioned, never made conditional on a withdrawal or account action first.
